Description | Leaves linear, 9-10 parallel veins, 15-40cm long, non hair. Scapes 10-40cm tall with tiny wings, non hair. Flowers inflorescences 7-15cm long, bracts 3-10mm long, 1-3 pedicels beside bracts each 4-8mm long, 6 white perianths each ca. 4mm long, 6 stamens (longer thsn perianth in male flower; same lengh as perianth in female flower), styles 6.5mm long in male flowewr, 4mm long in female flower, flowering in July to August. Fruits 4mm, seed 3mm long. Perennial plants. |
